RØDE NT‑5 Rod Condenser Microphone

The RØDE NT5 is a car­dioid rod con­denser micro­phone pri­mar­i­ly used for record­ing acoustic instru­ments, over­head drums, cym­bals and live per­for­mances. This micro­phone with exter­nal polar­iza­tion has a 1/​2″ cap­sule and an active J‑FET imped­ance con­vert­er with a two-pole out­put buffer. Its nar­row car­dioid polar pat­tern is also suit­able for dia­log record­ings made with the aid of a micro­phone stand or a boom pole in a film studio.
