Yama­ha’s R‑Series Rio1608‑D pro­fes­sion­al audio inter­face is an I/​O rack spread over 3 height seg­ments and con­tains 16 inputs and 8 out­puts. In addi­tion to the ana­log XLR inputs and out­puts, there is the option of addi­tion­al dig­i­tal inputs and out­puts in Dante for­mat via ether­CON Cat5e. At 8.8kg, the dig­i­tal stage­box can be mount­ed in a 19″ rack, mak­ing the Rio1608‑D easy to trans­port and set up in a space-sav­ing manner.
