For many years in endurance tests by experts all over the world. The unri­valed result is always the same. It offers a direct quartz syn­the­siz­er dri­ve, high torque (1.5 kg /​ cm) for a fast start-up and infi­nite­ly vari­able fine adjust­ment of the speed for the per­fect DiscoMix.

The Tech­nics SL 1210 has writ­ten a piece of his­to­ry. It is prob­a­bly the best-sell­ing record play­er in hi-fi his­to­ry – includ­ing all vari­ants and updates. The Tech­nics 1210 MK2 has made it into the Guin­ness Book of Records. It is the longest-pro­duced con­sumer elec­tron­ics product.

The turnta­bles in this series have been in ser­vice for sev­er­al decades and con­tin­ue to do so today, espe­cial­ly in dis­cothe­ques. It can prob­a­bly be described as the stan­dard turntable for the DJ.
