L-ACOUSTICS X12 - Ultra-compact coaxial loudspeaker

The X-12 is a compact multi-purpose loudspeaker with coaxial technology that is ideal for sound reinforcement over short distances. It consists of a pressure chamber driver with a 3-inch cone, coaxially mounted on a 12-inch woofer and housed in a bass reflex enclosure.

The reflex vents with laminar airflow (L-Vents) reduce turbulence and noise at high volumes and increase efficiency in the low frequency range. The X12 operates in the frequency range from 59 Hz to 20 kHz. The transducers are arranged coaxially and their ellipsoidal dispersion pattern enables a sound distribution of 90 degrees × 60 degrees with uniform sound behavior without side lobes over the entire frequency range. A built-in passive crossover uses customized filters. In addition, the L-Drive parameters of the L-Acoustics controller power amplifiers ensure that the speakers are linearized and protected.
