Vokkero Guardian Plus Intercom

The Guardian Plus is a wire­less full-duplex inter­com sys­tem for pro­fes­sion­al team com­mu­ni­ca­tion. It is oper­at­ed license-free on 10 radio chan­nels in the fre­quen­cy range of 829.250MHz – 869.525MHz. The sys­tem offers an extreme­ly long range of up to 1200 meters with a clear line of sight and allows the use of 3 sub­groups per channel.

Advan­tages of full-duplex radio:
Full duplex allows users of such radios to speak and lis­ten at the same time, sim­i­lar to a con­fer­ence call. In con­trast, with con­ven­tion­al radios, only one per­son can speak at a time, so the oth­er par­tic­i­pants have to wait until the speak­er has fin­ished before they can have their say. This requires strict radio dis­ci­pline, which is not always easy to enforce.
