Audiovisual equipment hire for conferences

Audiovisual systems are used in various settings, including community conferencing (such as video, audio, web, and data conferencing), presentation rooms, lecture theatres, and auditoriums. They are also commonly used in concerts and corporate events to enhance the overall experience.

The requirements for high-quality speech reinforcement in conference environments are often underestimated. There is nothing that people can judge as well in terms of sound as human speech. More than with any other sound reinforcement system, the right volume, the right sound and, in most cases, an unobtrusive appearance of the loudspeakers that is optimally integrated into the scenery are crucial. A conference typically consists of a large number of speakers and panel discussions.

Conference Sound System Hire

In order to ensure speech intelligibility even in small rooms, small conference sound systems are used. These consist of a number of small, slim loudspeakers and a selection of wireless microphones. The sound system operator ensures that the speakers are correctly set up and miked.

It is not only in the high-class sector, such as general meetings, conferences and panel discussions, that customers and agencies place the highest demands on the above-mentioned points. The participants in a small board meeting also have the same needs and we provide them with the right microphone, the right loudspeaker system and, of course, qualified personnel.

And last but not least, we are used to remaining flexible. It often happens that the number of speakers or the requirements of the organizers change shortly before the start of a conference. Our office and warehouse are also staffed at night and at weekends during the production period and can react quickly, sometimes delivering within an hour, especially in the greater Munich area.
Depending on local conditions, all possible sound reinforcement concepts can be used for optimum speech reinforcement. You can find some examples here:

Microphoning

Shure radio systems

For events with the highest technical requirements for radio transmission of vocals and speech, we use digital radio systems from Shure. The handheld microphones are optionally equipped with the Beta-58, Beta-87 or KSM‑9 microphone heads. We achieve maximum reliability through double miking via a UR4D in redundancy mode. With the Workbench software, complex systems with up to 63 active transmitters can be monitored from one position via the Shure Control Protocol.

Sennheiser radio systems

Many events with up to 32 transmitters can be realized more cost-effectively in the conference sector with analogue systems from Sennheiser. The microphone capsules of the handheld transmitters are just as popular with speakers as the capsules from Shure. For smaller setups, Shure wireless systems are only preferred by singers who are tied to their usual microphone capsule.

Line6 radio systems

For smaller events with up to 12 transmitters, Line6 is a real insider tip. Especially when it comes to voice transmission, there are no differences to the much more expensive systems from Shure and Sennheiser. The high-quality headsets from DPA can also be used with the Line6 bodypacks and are in no way inferior to a more expensive wireless microphone system. Thanks to digital transmission in the 2.4 GHz band, they are very quick and easy to set up and transmit very far and reliably.

Discussion system with microphone unit

Puzzlepie’s audio equipment hire is primarily designed for good sound. It is only practical, simple or even inexpensive where it does not get in the way of clear and powerful sound.

For professionally equipped conferences, a discussion system with microphone units is required to ensure good communication.
This is available both as a wired system and as a wireless system. The advantage of the wired system is that it is secure against eavesdropping and failure.

The microphone units are particularly suitable for podium discussions and press conferences. Each speaker can switch their microphone on and off themselves. Recording a conference is possible depending on the software equipment.

Inear monitoring

In addition to classic stage monitors, radio-based inear monitors are also used at industrial events as well as for bands. These allow the musician or presenter to either hear themselves or their colleagues better in a noisy environment, or to have a button placed in their ear. This allows the presenter to give hidden editorial instructions. Alternatively, inear monitoring can also be used in wired conference technology.

Conclusion:

Our audio and event rental service ensures that the speaker is well understood and that their voice can be heard clearly and unadulterated throughout the room without strain. The audio technology required for this is specially adapted to the size and acoustics of the room in question.

In times when everyone has their own notebook or laptop, it is only logical that the right IT technology is also part of a meeting or conference. After all, you also want to be optimally networked at the conference venue. Here too, we provide IT technology for conferences and other events. This also includes mobile technology that enables fast and secure access to the Internet or the company network.

Our conference technology specialists will be happy to advise you on the best way to set the scene for your event: We produce your event! Together with you, our production experts will advise you on the best way to record and distribute your project. Whether you want a compilation of your presentation or, for example, a live broadcast via internet livestream or satellite, our production experts are there for you.
