For events with the highest technical requirements for radio transmission of vocals and speech, we use digital radio systems from Shure. The handheld microphones are optionally equipped with the Beta-58, Beta-87 or KSM‑9 microphone heads. We achieve maximum reliability through double miking via a UR4D in redundancy mode. With the Workbench software, complex systems with up to 63 active transmitters can be monitored from one position via the Shure Control Protocol.
Many events with up to 32 transmitters can be realized more cost-effectively in the conference sector with analogue systems from Sennheiser. The microphone capsules of the handheld transmitters are just as popular with speakers as the capsules from Shure. For smaller setups, Shure wireless systems are only preferred by singers who are tied to their usual microphone capsule.
Line6 radio systems
For smaller events with up to 12 transmitters, Line6 is a real insider tip. Especially when it comes to voice transmission, there are no differences to the much more expensive systems from Shure and Sennheiser. The high-quality headsets from DPA can also be used with the Line6 bodypacks and are in no way inferior to a more expensive wireless microphone system. Thanks to digital transmission in the 2.4 GHz band, they are very quick and easy to set up and transmit very far and reliably.
Discussion system with microphone unit
