The CN-E18-80mm meets the require­ments of pro­fes­sion­al cam­era­men and demand­ing video­g­ra­phers for cin­e­ma films, doc­u­men­taries or wed­ding and cor­po­rate videos. The lens is a per­fect all-rounder. It has a 4.4x opti­cal zoom and a focal length of 18–80 mm. Although it only weighs approx. 1.2 kg, it has pre­cise ser­vo zoom and focus func­tions. These give the shots the typ­i­cal pro­fes­sion­al look. Com­pat­i­bil­i­ty with the Canon EF bay­o­net enables fast and pre­cise Dual Pix­el CMOS aut­o­fo­cus as well as pow­er­ing the lens via the cam­era, auto­mat­ic meta­da­ta cap­ture sim­pli­fies post-pro­duc­tion and lens func­tions such as vignetting cor­rec­tion are available.

With a focal length of 18–80 mm and a 4.4x opti­cal zoom, the video lens is spe­cial­ly designed for use in film pro­duc­tion.
