HDMI /​ SDI CROSS CONVERTER with scaling and frame rate conversion

The new Dec­i­ma­tor MD-HX is a com­pact HDMI & SDI cross con­vert­er (down- & upscal­ing) that enables frame rate con­ver­sion.
The MD-HX is con­trolled either via USB from a Mac/​Windows com­put­er or direct­ly via the but­ton con­trol with LCD dis­play on the MD-HX. Dec­i­ma­tor Design is an Aus­tralian com­pa­ny that spe­cial­izes in solu­tions for the video broad­cast sec­tor and is known for its strik­ing red hard­ware. The Dec­i­ma­tor MD-HX is a device with an alu­minum hous­ing that has an easy-to-use LCD dis­play and a but­ton con­trol system.

  • 4 x (3G/​HD/​SD) SDI out­puts, allow­ing the device to be used as a 1 to 4 dis­tri­b­u­tion ampli­fi­er; out­put pair 1 can either copy the SDI input (stan­dard) or cor­re­spond to pair 2

  • The audio pairs in the SDI and HDMI out­puts can be rearranged as required.

  • Using the same down-to-cross con­vert­er as the MD-DUCC, the HDMI or SDI input can be scaled and/​or the frame rate con­vert­ed to the desired standard.
