Based on the SM58, the dynam­ic Beta 58A has a long his­to­ry of suc­cess as the pre­ferred micro­phone of singers and pro­fes­sion­al sound engineers.

It has a high out­put pow­er and was designed for use in pro­fes­sion­al audio ampli­fi­ca­tion as well as in record­ing stu­dios. The super­car­dioid polar pat­tern ensures high, feed­back-resis­tant gain, max­i­mum iso­la­tion from oth­er sound sources and a min­i­mum of off-axis col­oration through­out the trans­mis­sion range. The con­toured fre­quen­cy response is ide­al for close-up vocal record­ings.

Thanks to its robust con­struc­tion, proven shock absorber sys­tem and hard­ened steel bas­ket, the Beta 58A retains its out­stand­ing per­for­mance even under rough han­dling. Typ­i­cal appli­ca­tions include lead vocals, back­up vocals and speech.
