The AKG C1000S MKIII con­denser micro­phone enjoys great pop­u­lar­i­ty thanks to its ver­sa­til­i­ty and is ide­al for record­ings of any kind. It also works, if no phan­tom pow­er is avail­able, via the inter­nal pow­er sup­ply by a stan­dard 9 V block bat­tery and is thus opti­mal­ly equipped for portable use. Due to the nov­el bat­tery mon­i­tor­ing elec­tron­ics, the C 1000 S also has a reli­able LED warn­ing function.
