The AR84 is an audio rack with 8 XLR inputs and 4 XLR out­puts, com­pat­i­ble with Qu, Avan­tis, and SQ mix­ers, as well as the AHM-64 audio matrix proces­sor. Adding an AR84 to your sys­tem allows you to posi­tion some of your I/​O up to 100m away from the mix­er, con­nect­ed via a sin­gle Cat5 cable using Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE-pro­to­col.
dSNAKE allows con­trol of the remote pre­amp, and all mic pre­amps are scene-recallable.
